Q. How many tips do you advise each week?
You can expect to see 5 free tips each week.
Q. How much do I need to start betting on horses?
A. We suggest that you start off with an amount that you can afford and feel comfortable with. We cannot advise you on an exact amount each selection to a 1 point stake (1/40th of your bank per bet). Therefore the minimum bank required would be £40. With £400 you should place either a £10 win bet or £5 each way.
Q. How do I best operate betting on horses?
A. Using level stakes ie. placing £10 or whatever your betting bank will allow on each bet appears to be the best way to go with our service.
Then over a period of time as you make money, then you can slowly increase the stake on each horse but continue with level stakes.
It is also important to get on a winning horse at a greater price than SP. This may mean getting on a large early price from Betfair.com or a Bookmaker or placing your bet on the Betfair SP price which is typically always larger than
SP.
Placing Win or Each-way is your decision.
Q. Should I bet with a Bookmaker or Betfair.com
A. The choice is yours however the Bookmaker's Starting Price is typically the worst price to take. If betting with a Bookmaker the early price is the best option. But there a few Bookmakers who offer a take the early Price and if the Starting Price is greater, then they will payout at whichever is the largest price. The best bookmakers that have this offer on every race is Bet365, Stan James and Paddy Power.
Betfair.com maybe the best option if you can get on a price higher than the Bookmaker's early price. You can also take the Betfair Starting Price as this is almost always higher than the Bookmaker's SP
Q. Any advice on what not to do
A. Sometimes people get the tendency to massively increase their stakes after a winning month or two but this is a big mistake.
I think the smart thing to do is to take the money people have won in the first month or two and have this as their betting bank. Let's say it is £400. Then they would place £10 on each bet and any money they make from then on is pure profit. Let's say they then make another £3000 and then the betting bank gets wiped out. Well, there is no problem as the betting bank was free money and the £3000 won afterwards was all free money.
Obviously over time they could increase their betting bank with their winnings and increase their stake slowly over time as well.
Q. What are the recommended stakes?
All selections are advised as a 1 point Win bets but if you prefer you could place the bets above 4-1 as 1/2 point each way.
